The Five Votes of Confidence
I have no idea where I got this, but I have been carrying this piece of paper around with me for about 15 years. You can't tell from this copy I made, but the original has push pin holes and bent corners from being shifted from bulletin board to file. There is even old tape residue on the back. For the past three years I have kept it tucked into a file tray next to my computer monitor so I can see it, along with a couple of other inspirational items.
I guess I'm so used to seeing it that most of the time I don't really see it...if you know what I mean. Then every once in a while it just kind of jumps out at me.
Anyway...tonight was one of those times it jumped out at me. As I reread it (for the hundredth time?) I realized that even though I may not pay attention to it on a daily basis, the message must have sunk into my subconscious quite awhile ago. The words on this little paper have become my modus operandi.
So I'm passing it along. Print it out and stick it somewhere you can see it regularly like I did. It's good to be reminded.
Today is ALWAYS a new day.
