The Crofton MD real estate market is doing quite well, despite the low inventory levels. The May 2012 Active Listings were 78, which is -43% of what they were in May of 2011.
That being said, more listings were Sold in May 2012 than last year. 35 listings were sold in 2012, compared to 31 last year. The Sold dollar volume was 22% higher as well, coming in at $10,830,255.
The median sold price was down slightly, but the average sold price increased 8% to $309,436. The average days on the market decreased by 24% from 2011 to 2012. In May of this year it was 96 days.
Overall, Crofton, MD has started, and continued the year off with good results. As you can see from the graph below, the activity seems to be in most price ranges as well.
