Alameda Theatre Midnight Movie Series

The Alameda Theatre and Cineplex is offering a deal for night owls.    The Theatre is presenting summer blockbusters during their Midnight Movie Series.  Not only can you get the jump on your friend by seeing the most anticipated movies first, but you can buy the tickets in advance at a low price of $7.75 each.  All you have to do to get the reduced rate is to gather a group of 6 of your nearest and dearest friends and family together to see the movies.

Midnight Movie Series includes Rock of Ages, Thursday June 14, Brave, June 21, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, June 21 and The Amazing Spider-Man, July 2.

The Historic Alameda Theatre and Cineplex is located at 2317 Central Avenue in Alameda.  For movie information call 510-769-FILM(3456).

Looks like they are offering some recent releases Evelyn.

I think this may be a good way to raise ticket sales at an otherwise slow time of day. Probably get a lot of young, out-of-school patrons.

I think the last movie I saw at midnight was The Night of the Living Dead. I particularly enjoyed the part where the Zombie tore the arm off of this girl and started eating it. Nowadays, I can't stay up past 9 PM.

Tom: Yes, kids love to go to midnight features.  They had great success with the Harry Potter and vampire movies.  These movies are first releases.

Donna:  I want to see them all, but maybe not at midnight.

Elizabeth:  I wasn't planning on attending the midnight movie, but I bet a lot of teens will.
