Seeing Red

The other day I helped a friend paint his office a great shade of red. It looked awesome while it was wet, but when it dried, it had a pinkish undertone. So he called a professional painter and was told that any time you paint a wall red you should  use a gray base coat first. So we followed his advice and WOW. The room was hot!
