I have never been to a Rodeo, and was not aware the Connecticut had a Rodeo until yesterday when one of my co-workers told me of that is up in her area of Connecticut. Apparently Goshen, CT has had a Rodeo the past four years, and according to her it is a great event and draws a large attendance.
Besides Bull Riding and the events listed in the flyer above there will also be other Rodeo events like Cattle Roping, and Barrel Racing. I am not into Truck Pulls, but seeing cars getting smashed up in a Demolition Derby would be something that I can get into. Goshen is a little bit of a ride for me, but I would love to take a ride up there this weekend.
If you have not made any plans for Father's Day, this might be something that good old Dad might enjoy doing, and the money raised by the Goshen Stampede go to support local Non-Profit organizations like the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation, F.F.A., Torrington Elks, Goshen P.T.O., Goshen Ag Society, Civil Air Patrol and 4-H.
