Too early to talk about going back to school? No! schedule last minute vacations or stay and visit family longer, finding out the return date early will help you adjust your plans for summer vacations. 

Columbia County's first day of school is Tuesday, August 7, 2012. July 28th from 10am-2pm is the annual Back to School Festival at Evans Middle School located on Hereford Farm Road directly next to the Columbia County Board of Education. The Back to School Festival is open to all Columbia County residents and their families. Provided will be information on required immunizations, before and after school programs, recreational sports and dance sign ups, and much more!

Meet your teacher at Open House! Take this opportunity to introduce yourself to your childs teacher, sign up for classroom activities and volunteer! You can also pre pay for lunchroom accounts and tour the school. High School Open House is scheduled for August 2nd from 6pm-8pm. Middle School, 6th grade only, is also scheduled for that day from 3:30pm-6:30pm. Middle School 7th and 8th Grades are August 3rd from 3:30pm-6:30pm. Elementary open house is August 3rd from 5pm-7-pm.
