Kierland Summer Concert Series, Scottsdale, AZ -
Don’t miss this FREE outdoor concert series. Outdoors in Arizona in June? It isn’t as hot as you might think. Attending the concerts in the past, I thought the same thing, but was pleasantly surprised. Kierland Summer Concert Series, Scottsdale, AZ for 2015 is every Saturday evening in June.
Kierland Summer Concet Series, Scottsdale, AZ starts at 7 each Saturday through June. Some tips before you go:
Having gone to these concerts before, its wise to arrive early if you want to sit in the shade or near the misters from the restaurants that surround the main stage area. Sit near North Bar as the misters drift east of the outdoor patio or on the hill west of the stage. Park behind Sur Le Table as the square is always packed and this area is in the shade, too. Bring a fold up chair that is lightweight and an insulated bag to carry water bottles. I carried a fold up towel to sit on to add extra cushion to my fold up chair which was very comfortable. Packing a reusable drinking container with ice and water seemed to last the entire night for me. If all else fails, ColdStone is right next to the fountains.
The concerts start at 7 each Saturday night through June. Here’s the schedule:
June 6: Apple: A Beatles Tribute Band
June 13: The Mancini Band: Big Band Swing to early Rock n Roll
June 20: Chuck E. Baby: Pop, rock and jazz
June 28: Rock Lobster: Hits from the 80's and Beyond
