I wanted to provide you with a little more information ..Surviving a Flood  blog.

I thought you’d find it interesting to also see an image of the Missouri River as it stands today.

along with the St. Jo Frontier Casino

which are all along the same road as Heritage Park along the river and were all also tremendously affected by the ’11 flood. The Nature Center, Casino, and trail have all been renovated, repaired and are open for business!

Amazing to think a year has passed…and with all the damage that was done to the attractions in

St Joseph MO are back in business like it never happened.

Dona, I live seeing recovery after a flood pictures.  My area/town (Manville, NJ) can always use hope since we've been hit several times in the last years with high flood waters.

Ron It is such a nice part of St Joseph and lots to do after the river returned to its banks:) Have a great weekend! Carol, yes to return to normal makes everyone appreciate what we have. St Joseph has such great businesses, volunteers, citizens and work so hard to take care of our great city. Hopefully, Manville will return to normal soon. Elite Homes, occasionally the Mighty Mo has to stretch out. St Joseph has in the past lost our water supply due to flooding, but we always "bounce back." Have a great day!
