There is an old joke about a man who goes on the treadmill for an hour but he left his cell phone with camera at home, and says to himself, well THAT was a waste. Meaning he could not document his sweating and upload to Facebook to his friends. ME being usually a late adopter and complete dunce with Social Media I throw out the question to you,
What Is It With All The Photo Taking?
I used to take photos on vacations or nature or significant people events. Sometimes 20 pictures of me in three months. Today's teenagers take 20 pictures in an hour. Some older women tell me DON'T take their picture, being self conscious of their appearance. But younger folks it is snap, snap, snap. Pictures of their lasagna, purple colored hair, standing in front of the mirror, their goofy smile on their friend, and THEN upload it all to Facebook with commenting. I get the grandkids photos, photos of the dog at the window, the new tomato plants sprouting in the backyard. But endless photos of yourself? Cameras in the phones and iPads, and tiny cameras for your pocket make this easy.
But if you don't take a picture it didn't happen?? LOL.
How do you see this in your world???
