Locke Street Neighbourhood
Love this street and the neighbourhood. I used to work at a Remax nearby and real estate agents would congregate at the West Town to have a cocktail or two and exchange stories and info on new listings.
The vibrant Locke Street has evolved over the past decade and now offers somethings for everyone and every palette.
Antique stores, delis, restaurants, a great pizzeria.
Bread Bar, Locke Street Bakery, a cheese boutique, chocolate boutique, upscale clothing stores.
A fabulous consignment shop where you can pick up designer duds for a song, interior decor-- the street is full of great shops offering unique stuff.
Lot of beauty salons and places to get pampered.

The Real Estate
Homes in this area are plain spectacular. Mansions abound, with character and charisma of the 20's and 30's, when most were constructed. Homes start at around 300K and go upwards of 700K.
Not much comes on the market and when it does, it's gone fast.
Walk the Bruce Trail, bike to the Harbour, stroll on Locke, saunter over to Hess Village, walk to down town, everything is nearby.
Excellent schools, University and College within minutes, recreation area and lots of parks.
Proximity to #403 access makes this area ideal for those commuting to jobs out of town.
Lots of kids, nannies, yummy mommies, intellectual types and 60's hippies to be spotted.
