Sutter Street in Folsom has long been considered the heart of the city. The three block strip of stores, bars, and restaraunts, not only offers great eats and shopping, but it really gives you the feel of what life must have been like during the gold rush days. While many of the tenants have changed, the feel of the street is very similar to how it must have been back in the late 1800's. Since our office opened at 702 Sutter St, in the Hacienda Building, I have had opportunity to sample the local shops, restaraunts and stroll along the street. From the charm of the individual shop owners, to the exquisite crafts available in their shops, it is easy to lose track of time when walking down the street. Two of my personal favorites are Snook's Candies and Pizzeria Classico.
Sutter Street is just one aspect of what makes Folsom such a great place to visit, live and work. Very few cities can offer such a variety of things to do, places to go. Folsom is truly a wonderful lifestyle. I would be happy to show you around or just talk Folsom History. Give me a call, and we can stop by Karma Cafe & Lounge for some house made flat bread, coffee and some great conversation.
