Motivational Power Quote
What Separates Successful People from Talented People?
“Talent is cheaper than table salt.
What separates the talented individual from the
successful is a lot of hard work."
Stephen King, author
As I see it . . . . . . .
What separates successful people from talented people?
Many times there is a thin slice that separates talented people from successful people.
Talented people know what to do and how to do it, but they may not have the motivation to act on their talent and to do what has to be done.
A successful person may not have all the tools of the talented person, but they have is the desire to succeed and the drive to work hard at becoming successful.
Good examples are athletes some seem to be born with talent and excelling at sports comes easy for then. They can practice a little less and still perform at a high level.
There are also athletes that are good at what they do. But they’re not blessed with natural talent they have to put in long hours of hard work to get better.
What separates successful people from talented people?
Successful people have a strong desire to succeed and they work hard to hone their skills to a cutting edge level and then they use them to succeed. They push themselves hard to get to the front of the pack and stay there. Their success is based on desire and hard work. The talented person will go only as far as their talent takes them.
