Cathy Bureau named Board Member for Alamo Forest Partnership

San Antonio, Texas –GREEN Home Realty is proud to announce Cathy Bureau as the newest Board Member for the Alamo Forestry Partnership (AFP). "After a short courtship between GHR’s Broker-Owner, Cathy Bureau and AFP’s Executive Director, Paul Johnson, each recognized the advantage of having a real estate perspective when promoting responsible tree management” says Cathy Bureau. She continued with "By sharing the vision, we can grow San Antonio’s economic value by adding beauty, charm, and improving home values."
AFP’s primary directive is to “Reverse the trend of diminishing forest in order to establish and maintain a healthy forest ecosystem in a community of cognizant trees. The strategy for achieving our mission is to create opportunities for businesses, governmental agencies, community groups, and volunteers to plant trees, conduct educational event, and maintain a tree inventory.” Through education and community awareness, people like Cathy can promote the value proposition to other Realtors, industry partners, and the community at large.
