Horsing around in Stamford CT.....

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Prestige Properties

Each summer the city of Stamford CT does something really cool.  Last year it was all about the cats and the dogs. This year, the "City That Works" is horsing around.

Throughout the downtown area there are horses, pieces of art, found grazing, standing guard and causing visitors to stop and stare at the fantastic craftsmanship. Here are a few examples.....

Throughout downtown you'll be able to visit and choose your favorite horse. Here's a list and map of the horses. Do me a favor and stop back and let me know which horse is your favorite.  Better yet, take a snapshot and post it to my blog.

Here's a challenge - there are a total of 40  horses.  Can you find them all?  This special exhibit is sponsored by a host of individuals and corporate sponsors, and organized by  Stamford Downtown Special Services District who continually strive to highlight the best that Stamford CT has to offer.

I like your choice of horses for this summers feature. Your statues look so beautiful. I imagine everyone is enjoying touring your city.

Hi Allen - thank you.  Yes the artists really do a great job.  And it's really fun to see if you can find all of them throughout town. Tourists visiting take pictures with them and everything.

Hi Kimberly, I loved that "Freedom Horse" with the Red, White and Blue strips. This sounds like a great community event. I would love to attend something like this.

Kimberly, The horses are wonderful. I saw a similar display one summer in Rochester, New York while visiting the area. There were so many great ones to admire!
