I really, really wish we had something like the Community Garden in Columbia in my area.  I would absolutely LOVE it and I am sure that so many would participate.  It's great to see such community involvement in Columbia.

That's really neat Ellie, it gives people who live in apartments an opportunity to tend to their own garden. Nothing tastes sweeter than a tomato that you've grown yourself.

Community gardens are such a good idea and a great way to meet neighbors.  They are very common in Vermont.

What a wonderful idea! We have only one within a 50 mile radius and it is for seniors only.  Of course, our county is mostly rural and many have small gardens at their home.
