What an amazing creation of the sea.  I have never seen that until your post.  I also like the little fellow in the old fashioned deep sea diving suit.  It looks like it should be on the cover of 10,000 leagues under the sea  Have a great week, and I hope Debby has stopped pouring water your way.  A

Larry and Sheila - it is a unique area--completely, and fun.

Gary - oh there is lots of finger food to be found at the Sponge Docks and great restaurants.

Alexandra - I like the little guy too. Debby has slowed down her raining on us and is inundating another area further inland. But I'm sure she's not done with us yet. My back yard (golf course) is now a lake :)

Kristin - anytime - after Debby has had her way with us and left.

Rebecca - I would be happy to show it to you.

John - thanks! It is a great place; you and Deb would love it.

Joan - Hope everything is good out your way.

Belinda - I know you love it! Me too.

William - thank you. You too. Stay dry.

Hi Toni, I had seen some of these years ago but I wondered, is there any commercial use for these sponges? What do they do with them?

The sponges are sold for cosmetic use (not the fingers) and cleaning, William. The fingers seem to be merely decorative.
