I made a quick appearance at the office Sunday to package and send an offer on a bank owned property. Once completed, I moved forward with my original plans--a game of Bocce Ball with the grandchildren at Friendship Park high in the hills of San Pedro.

It was a lovely Southern California day and I just happened to have my camera with me. Actually, I'm expanding my portfolio of local photos and am a bit short in the San Pedro department and the vantage point offered a wonderful photo opportunity. If you haven't seen the LA Harbor views from Friendship Park it's worth the drive.

An energetic wind kept the summer heat away and I enjoyed my play date with the kids. A smile has crossed my face more than once today as I recalled the fun we had together.

Great view. Too bad the fog/smog is still there. Lived in Huntington Beach a lifetime ago. Beach and mountains in one day is pretty cool.
