Dine in or take out at Anacapri Pizza in Cocoa Beach, Florida
Anacapri Pizza has been a landmark in Cocoa Beach for many years. One of the unique things about Anacapri is that they do not deliver...it is dine in or takeout only. SO, when I am near downtown Cocoa Beach at dinner time, all too often you will find me at Anacapri ordering takeout for dinner.
If you've visited Anacapri more than once, you are probably no longer a stranger and will more than likely be greeted by Victor, the owner. After perusing the extensive menu and placing your order, take a seat, relax and people watch while your order is prepared. It's a busy place and popular with both locals and tourists.
I'm sure everything on the menu is equally good but we tend to order the same items over and over...grilled chicken salad, antipasto, stromboli, white pizza and veggie pizza. One of the things we like best about Anacapri is that it is one of the only places we know of that still offers pizza in small (10"), medium (14") and large (16") sizes so, if we can't agree on one pizza, we can order two or three small pizzas with the desired toppings.
If you're having company and don't want to cook, call Anacapri and pick up your order at the time you desire. You can't go wrong with an antipasto tray, grilled chicken salad, 3-4 pizzas with toppings that appeal to your guests and tiramisu for dessert. Just add some good wine and enjoy!
I have done this on a couple different occasions and it was so nice to be able to enjoy visiting with our friends instead of having to cook and clean up...although, to be honest, I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, us or our friends...we've done this on two different occasions with two different sets of friends and they still rave about it today!
Anacapri Pizza in Cocoa Beach...they don't deliver but it's well worth the short drive!
