Order Next Year's Calendars Now

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Hamm Homes

Can I get a big discount by ordering my calendars in July?  We have an agent in our office that asked me if I placed my order for calendars for 2013.  I guess it makes sense to look into it doing this time of the year.

Calendars keep your name and picture in front of people for 12 months.  If they are the big calendars with pictures and room to write appointments on, they will be used and stay up on the wall.  I think this is something to look into now since sales have picked up and if I can get a deal on them.

Now if I can just sell my business partner, Belinda Spillman, on it.  She does most of the marketing for our partnership.

Will - I use calendars also.  Let me know if you get a discount by ordering early. I normally place my order the very end of October but if I can save funds I'll get them early too.

Before I got into real estate my husband and I used one Realtor for 3 different transactions...even pulling him into a county he didn't typically service to help us with a new construction all because he always sent us those calendars. Now, for ME to look into them!

Thanks for the reminder!

I am sure you will get good pricing for the volume you will order.  However, the world knows that you have seven settlements this week.

Have an outstanding week with your camera in hand.

I would have to agree.  They are too often overlooked and forgotten.

Probably a good idea.  I have relisted properties from my network, gone into the home and seen business cards of mine on the fridge from five years ago.  You can't buy that kind of advertising.

You should be able to get a good deal this time of year, no sense waiting until the last minute.

I've been doing calendars for several years.  I used to order the wall calendars, but had several people say they prefer the refrigerator magnets - there's probably people for both.   I've started using the refrigerator magnets and use them almost like business cards.  I use a couple of companies (back and forth) who will have "specials" on some of the designs (however, this may not include pets).  I just closed on a home with a couple I sold a home to in 1994 and he even commented about getting the calendars every year.  Like anything else, I don't think it works all the time, but for the price (especially the refrigerator magnets), I think the return is pretty good.
