Birthday Celebration on the Hiawatha Trail!
I want to share a birthday celebration that our family is having this coming weekend. My husband's birthday is Christmas Day so I always feel that he does not get the attention on his birthday that as a family we would like to give him. So this Sunday as a group of friends and family, we are going to “Ride the Hiawatha.” The bike trail is 15 miles long, starts in Montana and ends in Idaho.There are 10 tunnels and 7 trestleson the route with the longest tunnel being one and three quarters miles long.We are looking forward to the beautiful scenery and wildlife. We will pack our lunches and from the sounds of it should have no problem finding a good place to stop for lunch.
You know the best part is that this bike trail is only about one hour from our home here in beautiful North Idaho.We plan to take lots of pictures so will hopefully have pictures to share next week.
