You know your stuff Michael.  I have found Yoast the easiest and best SEO plugin for Wordpress.  It has a couple hiccups on the "keyword NOT shown in first paragraph" which is often incorrect, but other than that found it to be nearly perfect!

Out of curiosity, would it still be wise to use Yoast's SEO plugin instead of the built-in SEO with the Genesis Framework? Genesis' built in seo seems to be less heavy (meaning resource using on the back end).

You are doing such a great job with these posts.  Too late this evening, but I have emailed them to myself to study them when my brain is fresh in the morning.  Thank you for the time and effort that you are putting in to them.

Okay, now my face is showing up next to my WP blogs.  It took  a while.  I think the AR worked a couple of days later, but now it looks like the WP has caught on.  Not sure if it has reindexed all of the older ones, but it's certainly coming up for my most popular one and I wrote that one in Jan of this year. It's now getting over 1,000 hits a month as a landing page (and over 1,300 a month in total).  I have to try to replicate the success of this post in my others.  It keeps growing each month.

Michael, Is this compatible with Genisis/Studio Press/Agent Press?

Yep...I gotta say, love what you are talking about, but I haven't a clue where to start to change from current SEO settings to Yoast.

 

Hi Michael,  Add my thanks to those above.  I'm using " All In One " and wondering if I should delete it in favor of " Yoast " ?

The Yoast plugin is  strong tool.  By intuitively picking up on the blog post, the user always has SOME control over the meta information. I like the way the tool tells you if your keywords are compatible with the title and pick-up description.

I usually write a different meta description and use the keyword list to build out the tags.

And, don't forget the little EXCERPT box. You may have to activate it in some WordPress themes, 

First the genius of profound information, then jump on the scroll button to take care of the nitty-gritty of getting it out on the Internet in a way thata benefits your ideas.

 Michael, Thank you for the informative video.  I perfer video to just reading Blogs.  I also like watching them at 1.5-2.0 faster.  I watch the second video.
