Just a nicely tucked away piece of paradise. As you enter the gates to this beautiful 55+ Community, take note of the names of the streets--Bahama, Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman, Martinique, St. Barthelemy, St. Croix, Tobago, Trinidad......what I like to call my little piece of the the Carribean.
WHISPERING PALMS.........and that's exactly what the entire community is filled with. And about two in the afternoon, the palms start swaying in the cool breeze coming from the coast. Peaceful at it's best.
The community of Whispering Palms in Hemet began in about 1991, when a developer started developing lots with very nice manufactured homes. They started, and got the grass roots of the community up and running, but as the story goes, this developer stopped at 50 homes, for one reason or another.
So, in about 2001, another developer came in, saw what a great community this was going to be, and built another 79 homes......but these homes were "STICK BUILT" homes, if you will.
The manufactured homes on the east end of Whispering Palms, here in Hemet, CA, are beautiful, spacious homes ranging from aproximately 1440 square feet up to about 2200 square feet. The newer "STICK BUILT" homes h=offer three floorplans, with square footage between 1745 to 1806.
They offer two or three bedrooms, depending on which model you choose. Each of these homes has a formal living and formal dining room, however, some folks have made the dining room a third bedroom.
Each has a gourmet kitchen with a very spacious pantry, a center island, and opens out to the family room for entertaining. The master suite is on one end of the house and the second bedroom (guest room) is on the other end. There is a massive walk-in closet in the master, as well as a beautiful master bath, with seperate tub and shower, double sinks and lots of space.
Walking into a WHISPERING PALMS home, you will look up at the high ceiling to a beautiful chandelier/light and a window up over a decorative ledge.
From any lot in WHISPERING PALMS, you will be no further than a short jaunt to the pool and clubhouse.
And, if you become active in the WHISPERING PALMS community here in Hemet, you can meet lots of fun folks, as well as play Bunco, Bingo, and many other games and activities. The men play pool a couple times a week, there are exercise classes both in and out of the pool, and some of the residents, once a month, escape paradise and do what they call the Outer Limits, where they go out to a neighboring city for dinner.
One added bonus, Seven Hills Golf Course and clubhouse is only less than half mile away.
