Testing the waters of "active rain"

Welcome to Active Rain. I'll tell you what I think is the way it all works.... read as many blogs as you possible can... read all the comments, too.  Then start commenting on the posts you like. 

Subscribe to the ones you like... subscribe to the people who comment on your posts and welcome you.. I think that's the least new members can do to thank others for taking the time to read and comment on a their blog.  Also, when you comment, go back to see if they answer your comment.  When someone comments on your posts, reply to their comment... they will probably click back to see if you acknowlege their comments. 

Most importantly, write about what you know, what you like, and write from your heart as well as your head!
