3rd Annual 5K Freedom Run/Walk

American Legion Hall, 225 E. Holding Ave.
Show your support for our veterans and active-duty military by participating in this patriotic 5K walk/run over a USAT-certified course beginning and ending at the Wake Forest American Legion Hall. Proceeds go to Military Missions in Action, Hospice of Wake County’s “We Honor Veterans” program and other veterans’ and active-duty military causes. Entertainment this week will be provided by Joan Burroughs with her stories and music. The children's booth will have coloring books for the kids while parents can shop for fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, honey, fruit, and meats.
