By the way, did I mention this is a FREE Event with only a nominal charge for wood blanks? Follow the link below to learn more:

By the way, just touring the Mill will be a wonderful experience.

Great tip for a summer activity. I wonder if scouts could get merit badges for this class.

David, this event would be fun as an adult to attend!     For a nominal fee for the wood is a good deal!

David, it sounds like a lot of fun.  I love the smell of fresh cut wood and a great hands on experience for the kids.

David - this is something I always admired and would love to watch how it's done. Of course, I'm such a klutz that no-one lets me near knives.

Roy, I'm not sure if Scouts can get points for this. Good thinking though.... I am always so pleased when you stop by.

Joan, I had a friend (when I lived in Hawaii) that was a Bowl Turner and his work was absolutely incredible. I am always facinated by this kind of giftedness.....

Christine, it does sound like a lot of fun. The smell of fresh cut wood is awesome.

Toni, I remember asking my friend (see above comments) if he thought I could do something like he was able to do. His response was, I think we should keep the tools out of your hands. In other words, he knew it wasn't my talent, either. Thanks for stopping by.
