Not That I'm Planning to...

But, If I Was to Leave the Raleigh, Cary, Apex Area...

Lighthouse Beach, Eleuthera

OK, my dear readers, before you get your kilts all up in a bunch, I am NOT leaving the Raleigh, Cary, Apex area any time soon!

But, if I was...

I'd definitely consider moving to the remote Bahamian island of Eleuthera!

Even though we just returned from our much needed vacation, my girlfriend Christy and I are already making plans to go back.

Eleuthera is absolutely gorgeous.

The beaches, the snorkeling, the people... all spectacular!

We got to fly first class...

First class! The only way to fly!

We rented a house on the water...

Finiterre - Our home away from home in Eleuthera!

A beat up old Jeep to get around...

Hey, the AC workedd and it started every day!

Took in some "cultural" activities!!!

Kalik - The beer of the Bahamas!

Watched a tornado come and go in about 5 minutes...

Run Dorothy!

And every day we explored the heck out of that island...

It was tough leaving Eleuthera. But, like we said to everyone we encountered, "We're not saying goodbye. We're saying we'll see you again soon..."
