Can A High School Impact The Real Estate Market?
Joe makes a good point in his recent blog post Ahigh school matters a lot, especially when it is in a different school district We recently sold a home in the Worthington school district, one block away from an inferior district. Made a $10,000 difference in price
I saw this question about homes zoned for Chiles High School on a forum the other day, and before I could answer it, another forum member pointed them to the Tallahassee Real Estate Website. How cool is that!
Apparently, some people think Chiles is the best high school in town, but I can tell you as a true red-blooded Leon High School grad, there are those of us with different opinions! My daughter now, and my sons later, are Leon Lions.
But back to the forum question, the reader was looking for homes zoned for Chiles High School and wrote:
Hi, We may be relocating to Tallahassee and I'd like to know what neighborhoods would be zoned for Chiles High. That seems to be the best high school in the area. I read about Killearn, but are there others that are also zoned for it? Thanks! - ELC
But it got me thinking ... (scary huh?)
Would people like direct links to sort by school zones? For example, you can find all 364 homes for sales in the Chiles High School zone with the click of a single link. Is this of value to our readers?
