The Buyer's Counseling Session

First and foremost we will explain Agency Disclosure.  This pertains to representation, and the difference between client level service, and customer level service (It’s a real eye opener!).

Then, it’s on to objectives:

You deserve representation.  And you do have a choice.  Our Buyer's Counseling Session gives you the opportunity to thoroughly screen, interview, and if we are a good fit, hire us as your Buyer’s Representative. And the best part is that we will explain how you’ll be hiring us for free.

 Helping you understand the home-buying process is something we take very seriously and because Hamptons Edge Buyer Agents represent you (and not the home owner), we are there from contract to closing.

 You will learn that because we don’t list homes for sale, there is no allegiance other than to you. In fact, it is our duty to point out unnoticed features or faults with a property.  We don't have a preference of which home you purchase, as long as it’s the right home for you.

Last, but not least, we listen.  It’s vital for us to understand what you’re looking for.  The things that are important to you.  After all, if we are going to represent your best interests, we will need to know information such as:

  • Your reason for buying - so we can begin a proper search
  • Your wants, needs, and wish list - so we can help you find the prefect home    
  •  Your price range - so we can negotiate the best price and terms possible
  • Your financing questions and concerns - so that we are always on the same page

In real estate, representation is everything. some good points here ... I always ask the same question seven times (By Referral Only Method) ....

 

1.  I ask what is important to them about buying a house

2.  than I ask what is important about the answer to #1

3.  than I ask what is important about the answer to #4

 

by the time you get 6 or 7 answers deep you get a real emotional reason that you can help our client remember in moments of weakness

 

this works just as well with sellers
