Why Does David Weekley build Green?

We feel that it is our social responsibility as a builder to build green. We feel we need to protect our environment and future generations. We have Dr. Joe Lstiburek as one of our consultants. Who is this man? He was one person the Federal Government turned to in a time of crisis, the anthrax scare the Government turned to him for his advice. We too have Dr. Lstiburek on call. He tells us that the average American family’s carbon footprint is 50% transportation and 50% housing.

We also believe it is one of our competitive advantages. This makes used homes obsolete. This also allows people to better control their utility costs so a buyer can afford more home.

Yolanda, This is just smart business. I'm extremely pleased to see that Weekly Homes takes sustainable building seriously. Good job all the way around!

David Weekly Home seems to be the consummate builder from everything I have read here. If you are a potential buyer, I can tell you from experience of having been involved with nearly subdivisions, this builder does much more to ensure you get a quality product than any I worked with did. cheers cvc

Young home buyers are very interested in green construction.

I hope you are having a great weekend. Our power was off all day today due to the severe Friday night storm in Maryland.

Yolanda my friend, David Weekley sure does care about and look out for the folks that will buy and leave in the homes they build. That's mighty cool that David Weekley has Dr. Lstiburek on call.
