Real Estate Agent with Zach Taylor Real Estate 213-638

My most recent client has given me a new outlook on the wants and needs of buyers.  She has requested an additional large room, besides the bonus room for hubbys "Man Cave".  so now we need to find a home with Man Cave and Woman Cave rooms.

An extra bedroom will not be large enough, it seems she loves to quilt, we need room for serveral sewing machines, a large table for cutting and storage for all the additional yardage she's collected.

She's a young professional and deems quilting as a stress reliever, well maybe for her but now (STRESS) I've really got my work cut out for me.

It seems that people of all ages and genders are picking fabrics and creating quilts.  Now I know it's not because people can't afford to go on vacation as much anymore and are finding things to do at home.  This is an expensive hobby, could be more costly than golf!

It 's something I may have to try, I might even fall in love with it.

Doris - I haven't quilted in years, but my mother-in-law was an expert quilter and we have been blessed to fall heir to several of her masterpieces.  My sister in law just purchased one of those huge quilting machines and it took up an entire bedroom!  Good luck on that and thanks for a very interesting post!

Dorsi-  quilting is something I would love to learn. There is so much beauty in making a quilt, and what lovely designs..  I one saw a mom make a quilt from all of the covelrets she had received for her children - it was really nice.

Doris, I had a client like that too.  She needed a giant room for a 12 foot loom.   We found a home for her and she used the bonus room above the garage for her crafting.
