Stonehenge and Ruxton of Roanoke Townhomes are more commonly referred to as simply Stonehenge Townhomes.  Stonehenge Townhomes are a bit larger and a bit more expensive than The Forest Townhomes or Woods Crossing Townhomes, both in Roanoke County and just minutes away.  Stonehenge is located just off of Chapparral and less than half a mile from Electric Road in Southwest Roanoke County VA. 

Stonehenge was built in the 80's and is comprised of townhomes of differing styles and sizes.  Some units have garages, some do not.  Stonehenge Townhomes with garages sell for a higher sales price than those without even though the gross building square footage is the same.  Stonehenge and Ruxton of Roanoke Townhomes have more of a neighborhood feel than communities such as The Forest Townhomes due to the fact that Stonehenge has more streets and instead of a simple straight road, Londenderry Lane is a winding street with Londenderry Court and Stonehenge Square turning off of the main road.  You will also notice that the buildings are not located really closely together, most buildings consist of 4 units per building.

Stonehenge and Ruxton of Roanoke are upper end Townhomes located less that 10 minutes from Lewis Gale Hospital, Carilion Clinic, and Downtown Roanoke VA.  The Townhomes are also located less than five minutes from Kroger, CVS Pharmacy, Walmart, Restauants, Movie Theater, Tanglewood Mall and more. 

Stonehenge and Ruxton Townhouses stay in relative demand as more and more people move to Roanoke VA to work at Lewis Gale Hospital, Carilion Clinic or the new Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute. Being a centralized location has helped to keep this Townhome community at the tops of Roanoke Virginia Home Buyers shopping list.
