January Good Time to Sell

Why wait till spring to sell when there are limited homes on the market now? I have been constantly trying to educate the seller to think outside the box and go back to the basics and sell when not a lot of other people are selling.. Reasons for this I do believe they will certainly get more money for their home, buyers have preapproved mortgages and with state of rest of North America, interest rates can certainly begin to inch upwards?(higher rates equates to lower prices) take advantqage of locked in "guranteed rates"- we as REALTORS have buyers looking now so here is a stratedgy sell now-delay the possession date to allow enough time for the seller to repurchase in a market where there should be more selection and reap the reward of selling with limited selection..
