Thank you Firefighters for Your Valiant Efforts in Colorado

Thank you firefighters for your valiant efforts in Colorado. Because of you thousands of families are able to celebrate the 4th of July in their own homes. My heart goes out to all of the families across the state who lost their homes to the extensive fires. Please do not ignore the fireworks ban as the whole state is extremely dry and a single spark can ignite another horrendous fire.

Celebrate your family and friends and be safe.

We can never thank the people enough who fight fires to help protect our families and our homes.  I feel sure that today there are many families who are aware and are thankful for what they did for them.

Emelyn - I hope your community is blessed with a quick recovery from the fires, Colorado endured.  I think we often take our first responders (Firemen, police, medical emergency crews, etc.) for granted, until we have an upclose and personal need of them.  I hope you were able to have a good holiday, in spite of the trauma to your area!
