Being a short sale agent in Temecula, I understand the difficulties of the job and how complicated it may get during the whole process. Well, National Association of REALTORS® has come up with a program to help realtors throughout the country. Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certification, also called as SFR®, is designed to help agents in understanding the basic concepts of short sales and how to handle foreclosure transactions successfully.

SFR® framework is designed to fulfill the basic qualities of managing short sales and foreclosures in real estate agents. As one of the responsible members of short sale agent community I would like to explain some basic information about the course.

Important aspects of Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certification

SFR® contains detailed course and training for understanding these transactions. Some important points discussed in this certification are discussed below.

•How to qualify sellers for short sale proceedings?

•How to direct distressed sellers to finance, legal, and tax professionals for help?

•Tips for developing attractive short sales package

•How to safeguard your discussed commission?

•How to negotiate with lenders?

•How to limit the risks involved in overall process?

•How to tap into the demands of the buyer?

•How to protect your buyer?

In short, it will help in boosting the confidence of agents while handling short sales and foreclosures. According to some experts, after considering the large number of short sales and foreclosures in our country this was a necessary step to boost the confidence of agents as well as sellers.
