Great history on the 4th of July. My family and I enjoyed the day and brought it to an end with the fireworks. Hope you had a great 4th of July.

Dona my friend, folks sure do have a mighty fine time on the 4th of July back home! I sure did enjoy siting my eyes upon your photos of both Parades. The Town that I live in here, does not do a Parade or Fireworks for the 4th of July.

Tamra, The best part of family get togethers is the food. Seems all of us do not take or have the time to do family get togethers as often as we shoud and it really should be a top priority with all of us. I hope you have a great weekend and it is cooler in Arizonia than in Missouri right now:)
Pat, Sounds like you also had a awesome 4th of July. We didn't do fireworks as we don't have a little ones at home any more but certainly enjoyed all the neighbor kids having a great fireworks display. Have a great weekend and hope your weather is pleasant.

4th of July is one of my favorite holidays too, to celebrate our independence. I agree, I do like the fact it also gives us a chance to gather with family and friends and enjoy the lit up beauty in the sky by fireworks, and like you said, good food too! Thanks for sharing.
