It is HOT...Did you remember your Pets?

After several days of record heat...the one thing I have not heard on any News Station is the concern about our pets.

Here are just a few tips to help our pets out in this heat.

1)  Water!!  Lot's of water.

2) Shade.

3) An area where the breeze can reach them.

4) Inside a cool building if possible.

The easiest way is when you do something for yourself...Think if the pet needs the same.

Be Kind to you pals!

Hello William,

So true, people tend to forget that their pets need TLC in the heat as well!

Great tips, William.  Walks with our dogs are limited to the mornings or late evenings with our mid to high 90's!

I can't imagine having all that fur, but my vet said it actually keeps them cooler, too, with lots of water, of course.

I am a bit late with this, but much more hot weather in the future.  Pet owners need to think about these pets.

The old cowboys always took care of their horse before themselves.  Good lesson.
