I guess, it will be me! or should I say, no guesswork - it is ME!

This is the last minute entry as I have lost touch writing blog posts - it's been almost 5 months, I have been collecting ActiveRain points on comments, listing posts and market reports.

Not anymore - Margaret Rome, thanks for 'pushing' me - here I come! (Not to forget the incentive I have for this post - $500 plus 1,000 AR Points.)

Too much of talking about points - let me come to THE POINT. What will I do with $500?

Being a staunch follower of Brian Buffini and his systems (sorry Ben...), I'd spend most of this amount in lead generation. How? So, here it is....

$90 - Mailing my monthly Item of Values to my sphere of influence

$45 - Mailing Personal Notes, Thank You notes
$100 - My Pop-bys (20 past clients, approximately an item of $5 each)
$120 - Breaking the Bread with my little network (4 lunches and 8 'tiffins')
$100 - A Thank You note with Starbuck's gift card to those who sent me referrals (no, I cannot wait until the transaction is completed!) (Yes, I do generate at least 10 leads a month....want to join the sysyem? Call....me)
$30 - Very nominal cost of the 'blue box' (well, it's an integral part of coaching with Brian)
$15 - Purchase A Book Of the Month

Exactly $500! WOW!

(I thought I will have to spend some money on Brian's new CRM - Referral Maker which goes hand-in-hand with what Brian teaches. Well, he made it FREE for all coaching members. Thanks, Brian, I did not have to go over the budget)

I know many of you must be wondering - is this Real Estate Marketing as defined in http://www.activerain.com/real-estate-marketing? My answer is - Yes, it is. Try it.

I  have my sixth sense telling me - it will be me! Again? Why not?

Cheryl, Tiffin is lunch, or any light meal. It originated in British India, and is today found primarily in Indian English. 

Margaret, yes, you are always there for me - and I should say, this post was possible because of you. I don't know how much can I thank you for bring back my so-called blogging skills. I think, I don't blog - I just talk out loud!

Fernando, a good book is a treasure, we all know.

Barbara, you are a MEGA agent - and for your database, I guess, even to have these touches, you'll need an extra '0' at the end...lol.

Ritu, thanks - it always pays to send the 'Thank You' note with little intangible gift as soon as one receives the referral.

Bob, Beth, I thought this is the best $500 spent - and with max ROI. And it's easy, too.

Praful, I love some of your suggestions above. I have been thinking of inplementing the "tiffin" for awhile. I guess, the time is right. I already send a Starbucks card to agents, friends etc. who pass on referrals.

Tammie, I think this 'system' works -whether you have a coach or not - a personal touch makes all the difference. 'Tiffin' is a lovely concept and you are going to have a coffee/tea in the evening so why not with someone?
