List of Foreclosure Homes for sale in Des Moines Iowa ~ January 12th Update

List of available HUD, REO, foreclosure and bank owned properties in Central Iowa

As of January 12th, there are around 200 foreclosed homes for sale in the Des Moines area MLS.

Many of these homes present opportunities for investors to rehab (or flip) these properties, or to gain some sweat equity through renovation, in the case of someone who wants to purchase a foreclosure and use the home as a personal residence.

Bank owned properties are also very well suited to be converted into rental properties. A little elbow grease can go a long way, and often rentals, as compared to rehabs, do not require the significant extra upfront expenses to carry the property and fund more pricey renovations.

But either path can add income or equity to your investment portfolio!
