Just do the job right!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

Looking at a home with a clients, we found numerous items of concern.

The big concern is that the hack job fixing the issue took longer that if it had been done right.

Now, as I am preparing to write the offer, it will be a lot less than is the seller had done things right.

When all is said and done, my client is going to say something, but, I told him to bite his tounge until we are walking out the title companies door.

We all see some pretty crazy stuff that home owners do to try to save a few dollars.  Like you said William, "Just do the job right."

What do these people think?  Really?  I cannot believe some of the "repairs" or "renovations"  I have seen done by homeowners and some are downright scary!

Bill, sellers think they are saving money when they try to do a job that they're ill equipped to do.  It really needs to be done right.

Bill, you hit the nail sqare on.  Especially in the rural areas, many counties for years did not orry about building codes.  people were able to hack stuff together just to get by.
