Ocean Avenue is a beautiful long stretch of ocean view real estate in Santa Monica, CA. It starts in the North end of Santa Monica on Adelaide Drive and ends at Pico Boulevard. Ocean Avenue is the westernmost street in Santa Monica, and it mainly runs parallel to Palisades Park, which is a bluff that overlooks Pacific Coast Highway and Santa Monica State Beach.
There are many high rise condo buildings along Ocean with gorgeous ocean views. Palisades Park is a great area where residents enjoy outdoor activities such as picnic, walking, running, and biking.

The largest sale this year was in the Ocean Aire building at 535 Ocean Ave. It was the penthouse, which was the entire top floor including the roof top deck. There was 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, at 8,026 sq ft. It had recently been remodeled. It was beautiful and the rooftop deck was facing West. Taking advantage of the views on Palisades Park and the Ocean.
As Ocean Avenue overlooks the ocean, there are many luxury hotels such as The Fairmont Miramar, Hotel Oceana, Shutters on the Beach, Casa del Mar, The Viceroy, Hotel Shangri-La, The Georgian, The Shore Hotel, JW Marriott Le Merigot and Loews, fine dining options such as BOA Steakhouse, Ocean Avenue Seafood, Blue Plate Oysterette, Capo, Catch, One Pico, The Lobster, Cezanne, Cha Cha Chicken, Chez Jay's, Coast, Il Fornaio, Ivy at the Shore, Ocean and Vine, Sushi Roku, The Dining Room, The Veranda, and Whist, and many expensive mid-rise and high rise condos overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Beach to Malibu. Third Street Promenade is two blocks to the east. At the intersection of Ocean and Colorado is theSanta Monica Pier.
Many major east-west arterial roads such as Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard and Pico Boulevard begin their western ends on Ocean Avenue. Past Pico, Ocean turns into Neilson Way. After Neilson Way hits Venice Beach the street becomes Pacific Avenue, which ends at Washington Boulevard in Marina del Rey.
The intersection with California Ave (The California Incline) leads to Pacific Coast Highway.
