Fire Fighters advice for fire-proofing your home.

I regularly suggest to my clients moving out to use a group of Fire Fighters to move them.  They have moved several of my clients with no problems.

This is a list of suggestions they have given me:

·      Install dual-sensor smoke alarms in every room.  You should do a monthly test and change batteries at least once a year.

·      Purchase a fire extinguisher.  If you live in a two story home, purchase 2.  We also have one in the garage.

·      Create a barrier around your home.  Clean all flammable vegetation and debris.

·      Establish two escape routes from each room in the house.  Practice with family members.

With this, hopefully, it will give you a little piece of mind!
