In the month of June a total of 71 single family homes sold in Greenwich Connecticut. In this playground of the affluent the majority of homes sold for less than $3,000,000.  The least expensive home was a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Colonial in Byram that was originally listed at $455,000.  The final sales price? $335,000.  It was a short sale, where the owners sold the property for less than was owed to the lender. The most expensive home sold was an Old Greenwich waterfront compound having 6 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms and 4 powder rooms. Boasting over 200 feet of water frontage, this property has a guest house, in-ground pool and a private pier.  The price tag? $14,500,000.
