This Just In...Tree Dude/Dudettes Take Up Residence in Franklin, NC

Real Estate Broker/Owner with MoonDancer Realty, Dillsboro,NC NC# 218097
This just in from brand new homeowners in Franklin, North Carolina...two tree dudes have taken up residence in their neighborhood.  Kathy and Bob first became acquainted with tree dudes when we were working together to find them the perfect mountain getaway.  Since then, they've been eager to encounter others but until today the tree dudes have proven to be quite elusive.

According to the email I received from Kathy just a little while ago, she and Bob decided to do a little fishing today at Lake Glenville just outside of Cashiers.  When they finished at Lake Glenville, they went to Cashiers to do a little exploring and shopping.  They thought they'd gotten a glimpse of a couple of tree dudes paying particular attention to them but didn't think much about it until after they'd gotten settled back at home.

A few hours later it was apparent that the tree dude couple had decided to also put down roots in the same Franklin neighborhood!  Kathy and Bob have decided that it's kind of comforting having their new neighbors close by.

HI Mona - Pretty funny.  But I think your second "dude" is a tree lady.  They do make a cute couple!  lol

What fun, Mona.  Love those tree dudes, LOL.  Although, I'm not sure about the second one - looks like it could be a dudette, LOL.

Hi Mona, These tree dudes seem to be a cool addition to the culture of your area. I have never actually seen one these but your examples are excellent.

Susan, you are of course correct and I did name the photo dudette...I think some editing is in order, lol.  I know how I feel if I'm referred to as a guy!  You know, like how are you guys doing?

Andrea, I'll bet your girls would have so much fun inviting and creating the tree dudes and dudettes to come live in your new big yard.

Rob, they are peaceful guardians of any neighborhood, except for in the Wizard of Oz.  Those guys were a little touchy.

Juli, the dudette is actually pretty rare and I think Kathy and Bob are very fortunate that she chose their place to live.

William, I'm surprised there have been some sightings in San Diego.  I'll bet lots of tree dudes would love that climate.

Roger, I'm lovin' that you're lovin' the tree dudes.  Kathy and Bob are very excited about their new neighbors.

Valerie!!! I love those names.

I don't know, they look like a Chuck and Chantelle to me.  But I'm sure they will reveal their names to Kathy and Bob eventually.

Leslie, Kathy and Bob are spending enough time outdoors that when the names are revealed...they will hear them loud and clear.

Mona, these dude/dudetts could be part of my family trees. Hard headed, leaf on the spur of the moment but the always stand tall shading us from a storm. Glad to hear your client put down roots in Franklin.

Janine, good to hear from you...I've been very fortunate with closings in Franklin during the last year.  Getting to know you Macon County folks better all the time.
