Happy 4th of July Everyone!

But Crested Butte will be anything but quiet this 4th of July. Crested Butte Market Update

So far this this year the Crested Butte real estate market has seen some incredible activity. Regarding homes and condos in the upper valley we have closed 106 transactions totaling $47,398,513. That's a 19% increase over the same period last year and we still have another 25 properties under contract totaling $8,349,400. Land has picked up considerable over last year as well with 32 transactions closed since January 1, 2012 worth $6,040,500 and one more under contract. That is an incredible 66% increase over the same period last year. With many of the high end single family homes selling the inventory has diminished and land is now again attractive. Bring your cash as land loans are still not desirable.

Keeping it short today. It's a holiday, get out there and enjoy yourself!

Visit the Evolution Bike Park on Mt. Crested Butte for some of the best mountain biking in the nation. And visit my mountain bike page on my website to view all of the valley's incredible mountain bike trails.

I hope you guys are getting more rain. We are on the other side of the mountain. It's been great. We have thunder and lightning right now...with just a promise of rain. We are thinking of coming over for Drew Emmitt's bluegrass event. My husband is friends with Drew from our Telluride days. I'll stop in and say HI, if we get over there.
