We always have some ducks in our sub-division during the spring and summer, but this year, we had more than usual. Not too many, but just more. And they would occasionally stand in the the roads on the dams and even walk up the road to people's yards. My wife, Sue, had the idea to put out some signs, so we collaborated on the design (mostly her) and I got a local sign shop to make some of these. Of course, we got permission to put them on speed limit and stop signs around the lakes. And yes, I realize they are pictures of male ducks, but..... I plead "literary license"!
