My, What Big Antlers You Have!

While in Alaska we saw this magnificent moose lift his head up from the fields below. We were traveling on the train heading to Mt.McKinley.

My, What Big Antlers You Have!

Alaska is such a great place to go and spend a vacation.

This was our third trip there. The hotels are wonderful, the train is fantastic, and the cruise ship buses make travel so easily. But best of all is the nature in Alaska. The scenery is beautiful and the wildlife is magnificent.

Hi Than,

It is amazing and they lose them every fall after mating season and then immediately start growing them back for the following year. Having a big set of antlers is a good thing when finding mates. Finding antler as a keepsake is a popular hobby in Alaska and other northern states and Alaska.

Krisin,

Hi Steve,

It is amazing as those antlers are heavy. He must be some kind of king in his group with his big antlers.
