Those Banjo's are playing in my head.
Every once in awhile, I'll get Investors who Flip their newly purchased property, once they are ready to do so. Normally I'll have a non-Realtor® or non-investor type on the other side of the transaction.
I recently ran into a situation where there were Investors on both sides of a possible conveyance.
As a Transaction Broker, in the State of Colorado, I am allowed to assist both sides of a transaction, provided both Buyer and Seller are aware of this and they agree to it. (If there were a Buyer or Seller Agency involved, this would not be allowed).
Long before any type of negotiating would have ever take place, both sides had THEIR agenda and neither would budge. Both sides wanted this and that and the other side, to them, didn't matter.
I think there has to be a "Give a little, Take a little" type of mindset on both sides if negotiating a sale of a property is ever to take place.
Get over your Ego's folks! ~ For just that reason, the sale never occured.
Oh well..... Next?!
