County foreclosure auctions in Volusia & Flagler Counties, where we are going, take place in the county courthouses.
And to get to the courthouse means going through the metal detectors, taking your shoes off, and some times getting your belt out.
Well, while the Sheriff deputies are sweating in search of terrorists and weirdoes, there is often a long line of people and it takes time to get through.
It was an interesting show today in the morning. A nice looking lady (in the eyes of beholder) was going through the metal detector. She put her handbag into the plastic basket and it went through a machine. She went through the metal detector, and she was fine. But then she was still there, and still there, and still there… and the deputies did not let her go through.
They found an I-Phone charger (!), hairspray, and a small knife, and it was all prohibited stuff… And it was just 3 minutes before the auction…
This lady was my wife…
