Good Morning,
How was your Fourth? We had a nice and simple barbeque at the in-laws and then watched the Woodbury fireworks show from our cul-de-sac after the little one went to bed. In a year or so, we may be able to keep Elle up long enough to see them too. Tomorrow we celebrate her 2nd Birthday (Family party to follow this weekend, of course). It’s amazing how time flies.
Interest rates are near where they were two weeks ago with the conventional 30 year fixed rate dipping even lower. The Federal Reserve will release their meeting minutes later today and that can cause some volatility in rates but it seems that currently, fears of another recession starting in this economic climate is driving interest rates slightly lower.
Have a great week!
Matt
Rates: 30 year fixed at 3.375% (APR 3.511) and the 15 year at 2.875% (APR 3.118), FHA: 3.25% (APR 4.14): As always rates change with individual credit scenarios and programs, APRs are estimated based off of a $250,000 purchase price with 20% down and a 740 credit score, if you want an exact quote, call. These are not quotes, merely a baseline measure to gauge how rates change from week to week.
