Active Rain Agent Makeover Contest

I would be willing to bet there are parts of your business that run like a well-oiled machine! Maybe your people skills are so stellar that you’ve found the way to make each of your buyers feel like they are your number one client. I'd also be willing to bet there are areas that could use improvement; perhaps you're horrible with paperwork and by the time the contract comes together, you feel like all you do for the next week is sort, file, scan.

Self-reflection is never easy, but we have teamed up with HomeFinder.com to force you into action. HomeFinder.com is committed to helping Realtors improve their business and offset some of the hardships facing the industry over the last few years.

They recently launched the HomeFinder.com Agent Makeover Sweepstakes, which offers all licensed real estate agents the opportunity to win a two-night trip to Chicago for a business and style makeover. The five winning agents (chosen at random) will receive a head to toe makeover, expert coaching that will give them tools they need to help build their businesses and the competitive edge they need to succeed in today’s marketplace. For July's ActiveRain challenge, we are asking that you take a good hard look at your business and tell us about something you would like to makeover or upgrade.

The Challenge:

Write a blog post that shares something about your business that you would like to improve. In the post, don't just let us know what you'd like to improve, tell us how you plan on doing it. Posts must be 300 words minimum in length, because this is about taking action! The more thought you put into this, the more likely it is that you will actually take action. 

All posts must use the words "HomeFinder.com Makeover" somwhere in the title. 

Include the hashtag #hfmakeover if you’re interested in sharing via Twitter. All tweets must reference “@homefinder1.”

Each submitted post will receive 2000 ActiveRain points. Posts must be submitted by Friday, July 27 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. In order to enter, leave a link to your post in the comment section of this post.

The Winners:

The Team at ActiveRain is going to select up to four of the best posts from each of the categories below, with a total of 20 potential finalists. Those posts will receive an additional 2000 points. The team at HomeFinder.com will then select one winning post from the semifinalists in each category to receive the $100 Amazon.com gift card.
